The unique strap design uses two fixation points per strap that straddle mesh pores and fibers, providing consistent and secure fixation while minimizing the amount of foreign material exposed to internal tissues. The absorbable straps are made from a blend of polymer materials (such as polydioxanone and lactide/glycolide copolymer) that maintain stability during early tissue integration and are eventually absorbed by the body over time, reducing long-term implant burden. SecureStrap is engineered to deliver reliable holding strength at various angles and facilitate efficient mesh fixation, helping to improve surgical outcomes in procedures like ventral and inguinal hernia repair.
